Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question before you book? You will find answers to the most common ones below. If you cannot find what you are looking for, give us a call or send us a message and we will get back to you promptly.

Appointments and Booking

You can book online here at any time, or call us during opening hours on 08 8549 1708.

We are open Monday & Wednesday 9:00am to 4:00pm, Tuesday & Thursday 10:00am to 5:00pm, Friday 9:00am to 1:00pm. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

We set aside a full hour for new patients. This gives us enough time to go through your medical and dental history, carry out a thorough examination, and answer any questions you have without rushing.

Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. We ask for at least 24 hours notice where you can manage it, as this allows us to offer the time to another patient who may need it.

We keep same-day appointments available for dental emergencies during opening hours. If you are experiencing a dental emergency, please call us first thing and we will do everything we can to see you that day. We do not currently offer an after-hours service, so for emergencies outside our opening times, please seek care at your nearest emergency department.

Fees, Health Funds, and Payment

Yes. We accept most major private health funds with dental extras cover. HICAPS is available at our practice so we can process your claim on the spot. We recommend bringing your health fund card to your appointment. Please note that we are not a preferred provider for any health fund.

A check-up and clean for new patients is $230, though this may vary depending on what is involved at your appointment. We provide a full cost estimate before any treatment begins so there are no surprises. If you have private health insurance with extras cover, part or all of the cost may be covered depending on your policy.

We accept cash, EFTPOS, and all major credit cards. We do not currently offer payment plans or third-party finance options such as Afterpay, Zip, or DentiCare.

The CDBS provides funding for eligible children aged 2 to 17 who receive certain government payments including Family Tax Benefit Part A. If your child is eligible, their check-up and clean will be bulk billed with no out-of-pocket cost. You can check eligibility through Medicare, or we are happy to check this for you if you provide your child’s Medicare card details. For more details, see our Children’s and Family Dentistry page.
